Top diplomats from Southeast Asia are meeting in the capital of Laos to discuss conflicting territorial claims in the South China Sea and escalating fighting in Myanmar. Rivalry between the US and China has rattled nerves in the region. Top officials from the two superpowers met on the sidelines to discuss ways to defuse growing tensions.
