They really need to have the moderators turn off the other microphones when it is another person's turn to speak. It isn't rocket science, any kid in AV club could manage mic control for a kid's stage play, so it shouldn't be hard to moderate these gop children.

Let's stop calling these things "debates" and start calling them what they really are: Auditions. Plane and simple. Everyone up there is auditioning to play the role of President of the United States, and those not obtaining the nomination, hope to be asked to "serve" as Vice President, or Secretary of State, or Secretary of the Treasury, or Attorney General... Just like all the other election cycles in recent, televised history.

As a Floridian Republican I have my reservations about Desantis. Everything he says he did in FL has huge negative corresponding factors and most often he simply lies about his successes. He talks about his previous landslide election but that was in 2018 before he started with his many dictator-like behavior. Coming from a communist state, Desantis is too eerily familiar.

You are not kidding about it being "unwatchable". Listening to these supposed Republican ladies and gentlemen shouting over each other, rarely allowing any candidate to finish a thought or a sentence and allowing what is supposed to be a moderated DEBATE to devolve into chaos was causing me to have to MUTE the TV from second hand embarrassment!

Most surprising thing I noticed? Chris Christie is actually pretty sharp and a good debater. I did not even remember him from the last debate.
