Genuinely one of the worst missions in the game, as much as I adore this game this mission is past the line of trial and error to unfair gameplay, it's mapped to the scooter so you have to do it perfectly or you fail you can just roll off p-switches, there is no room for error and due to just how tight the controls are you can come out of a roll and still trigger a long jump while off ZL. There is no point going back if you fuck up the start cause you have lost momentum, like for real Jump-rope and Vollyball suck but they are just boring this is almost just broken.

Pro tip for anyone still struggling, turn on Assist Mode. It will respawn you next to each of the P switches letting you retry these sections immediately instead of doing the whole thing all over. Grab the secret life heart near the entrance to the Broodal's tower and you'll have 9 chances before you have to go back to the beginning.

These are the most painful anxiety attacking levels EVER in Mario. Nintendo just wants to be like “Oh, there you are! You ready to have some fun activity? Welp, guess what? Unfortunately, you can’t.”

In order to get the extra side moon, you can also take the normal route, then destroy all of the tanks, face the moon, ground pound jump and dive at it to get the moon easily.

Here’s a tip: if you’re trying to get the secret moon, but miss it and land on the end platform shown at 0:52, you can still get it by performing a triple jump then diving to collect it, after the moon animation turn to the platform and dive onto the platform, after that you can exit the stage victorious!

Thank you for this! I was completely lost on how to complete this level, but once I saw this video I was able to power through (though I did turn on assist mode because I have nothing to prove and didn't want to go through that tricky part too many times). Now the only moons I'm missing for 100% completion are the expert jump rope & volleyball moons, which I will not be attempting because screw that.

This has to be the most frustrating part of the game. It caused me to punch myself in the face with both hands whilst holding the controllers. A great guide that really helped thank you it took me about 3 hours using this video but I have done it.
