As an Australian Aboriginal we need more beautiful peoples to keep coming to our beautiful land…..we have so many people from across the earth….from every lands and countries and including the U.S….we have our fair share of little minded peoples…..but they are less and less….and we have our struggles, but more great people helping to continue to build and make our country better than the best….which is ourselves!!!….God bless the Judith and the rest of the band….God continue to bless this country and those that keep coming to share with us and DramaSydE…cheers champion 🙏🏼✨👍🏾

I was lucky enough to have gone to Many The Seekers concerts in the 2000s and 2010s. I became a fan after seeing the closing ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games on TV and loved the immediately. I was 17 at the time. I went to as many concerts as I could afford, even travelling to different states here in Australia. Judith was always so nice to her fans when meeting her at the stage door. I remember one time she even took us just inside the venue as it was cold. I miss her a lot.

As many other Australians feel - I feel more of this song than our current national anthem - I feel this should be our national anthem - we all get a little teary and proud when this is sung.

ANY AND EVERY AUSTRALIAN WHO KNOWS THIS SONG sings along just like i do when i watch people react to this song, it has a lot of Australian words in it like bushie and battler, a bushie is someone raised outside of cities in small towns, and a battler is someone blue collar who works hard for their money, i am a bushie and a battler, i was raised in small towns, and work hard for the money i make.. any australian who knows this song cant help but sing with pride when we hear this song

I as an Aussie thank you for the respect you show to our Aussie performers.
As I've seen so many Americans don't and that they think they are the only GREAT producers of talent and nobody else is as good as them.
Again thank you.
RESPECT 🙏

Judith was recovering from a stroke when she sang this, that is why she was seated during the performance. A beautiful lady with an angelic voice who also spent much of her time raising funds for charity. Sadly missed. RIP.

The reason we’re moved by this song is because it is a song for humanity.

Yes, as an Aussie it makes me misty-eyed everytime I hear it. Sometimes it is sung without the verse about the convict ships, but that is a strong part of our history.... many were "political" prisoners, especially the Irish. Anyway, it is history and cannot be covered up. Also very emotional to recognise the First Australians - the indigenous Aboriginal nations people.

Georgy Girl and I'll Never Find Another You are two of the great songs from the Seekers that became part of many personal soundtracks from the 60s on.

Hey Big Man, thank you for being open-minded enough to accept and appreciate what our beloved artists have offered to us during our lifetime. Too often they have been ignored, only to be "discovered" by a wider audience like precious relics buried by the sands of time. Today, you are Australian. Good onya mate.

An American, I can't get enough of this song, especially the phenomenally evocative opening with didgeridoo playing!! Judith's vocals are so gorgeous, too. Thanks for letting this play straight through, Brother!

Worth knowing that Judith Durham had just come off a massive stroke to perform in this farewell concert. She might look like a frail old woman in this clip, but her voice never left her

The Seekers were another great Australian folk pop band from the 60's. Judith Durham had such a beautiful voice. She just passed away recently. They had so many great hits including "I'll Never Find Another You", "Georgy Girl", "The Carnival Is Over", "A World Of Our Own", "Morningtown Ride", "Someday, One Day" etc. They have beautiful voices & harmonies. They don't make nostalgic music like this anymore. Reminds me of a simpler time.
