Umm no. The story is that the siren lured the soldiers hunting her by her sing and they went insane and drowned them selves. The guy survived because he’s deaf. The siren didn’t understand how he didn’t go insane or whatever so she followed him and fell in love with him. The guy realised her scales are made of gold so he plays along, then attacks her and takes all her scales. She bleeds into the water giving it healing properties and his hearing is cured. He now hears the sirens song and drowns himself. The end

The theme for this is "toxic love"
The siren fell in love with the soldier bc his deafness protected him from going crazy when she sang. So she became intrigued by this person who was never bothered by her voice.
The soldier only liked her bc she was covered in gold and jewels.
But ill never get over how he just butchered her. That gold you see isnt an outfit, its her skin. Every little scale on it is part of her body and that includes the gold on her face and her lips, nails. Everything.
And he just tore it all off.

She lost her beauty and her voice.

She couldn't understand how she was hurting the man and it was lust, infatuation and curiosity. But ultimately the man's selfish nature itself, he lashed out when he refused to understand her lack of interactions and general understanding of having empathy. It's really quite a pity yet it has a strange array of things going on.

the siren saw the soldiers and thought they were dangerous, so she let out a deadly song to defend herself, they heard her scream and started rushing to her, they were only interested in the jewels on her. the last soldier couldnt hear her song since he was deaf, the siren thought that the soldier was the only one who wasnt wanting to kill her, so she trusted him, later on, he got knocked out by a branch while he was running away, and the siren gently held him while he was passed out. As soon as he woke up, the siren was startled and tried to run away, and when he pulled off a jewel from her body, he chased after her because he was desperate to get all of the riches and jewels on her body. He arrived at the waterfall that she was dancing in and then she approached him with a love dance. The soldier danced with her until he had the perfect moment to knock her out. Later on, he began taking all the gold and jewels off of her, ripping away all of her trust, even her eyes were taken. Then she got thrown back into the lake like she meant nothing to him.

all of you have seen the comment telling the story briefly but let me tell you what happened at last

when the soldier took all the gold he went back to that river to drink the water (the water had healing powers because of the siren) after drinking water he was amazed that he could hear everything. as you know the water has healing properties it also healed the sirens body when siren woke up she killed the soldier with her voice.
