Hey Parker, I am currently trying to get a new amp to push two Orion hcca 12”s and I’m wondering why nobody ever has done any videos reviews dyno or anything on the Taramps big boss 5k? I think it would help allot of curious people to see what the big boss 5k is about. I assume that because the big boss 3k did good that the 5k would? But sometimes it’s not the case. Let us know we want the big boss 5k review!! Thanks Parker keep it up!!

The non-perks of having a clean ran system. Upgrades and non exact replacements are subject to change how they look. I myself replaced the single 10 in the back of my wagon project for a pair of 12s, and now I need to move some cables around so the box can sit where I want it. I may have to extend the double 0 gauge wire for power & ground from the rear battery to the bus bars in order for the cables not to get snagged.

For future reference whenever you have a amp that you know is going to loose the set screws whenever it is not hooked up simply cut a small piece of wire or a dowel rod and stick that in the holes and snug up the screws. No more lost screws. I hope this helps you out somewhere down the road.

I swear, I see all your taramps and now that I have a nice monster sub (blackbrick audio brickhouse 3krms) I am really thinking about a taramps amp. Thinking about a smart bass 5k but now seeing this, I'm really considering the big boss amp. Looks freaking awesome too imo

Going to run my wiring for my little budget build tomorrow ( weather permitting ) only doing 1 Machete 12R 1200w rms @ around 1500w rms with a Stinger MT-1500.1D and possibly some deaf bonce 6×9 on an old school kicker impulse 352xi ... Wish me luck, used to run all audiobahn back in the early 2000s but haven't done much in years !

How do the rca’s work with it being 1 in and 1 out? Do you just run a y splitter to the 1 in or put both rca connectors regular: one in the 1 in and one in the 1 out?
