As thousands of Russian troops remain massed at the Ukrainian border, the country is preparing for a possible invasion. CBS News foreign correspondent Imtiaz Tyab reports from Ukraine. Geopolitics dictates that Russia must eventually make peace with the west. Some day China will come calling for the return of Vladivostok. I don't care how much they are current frenemies. How many ethnic Chinese living in the Russian Far East now anyway? This is inevitable and every Russian who is reading this knows it. All parties should negotiate in good faith and be in touch with reality. Ukrainians should take into consideration some of the Russian perspective concerning regions of Ukraine with large ethnic Russian populations. Russia needs to see that Ukraine does not wish to be a sphere of Russian influence and decide their foreign policy for them.
