Activities to improve pencil control for handwriting.

When holding a pencil with a dynamic 3 point pencil grasp, we also need to move the three fingers holding the pencil. This is called refined finger movement of the thumb, index, and middle fingers. Refined finger movements enable controlled movement of the pencil for drawing, writing, and coloring. Dotted pictures provide lots of opportunities to practice refined movements of the writing fingers and improve pencil control.
