She seems overpowered here, but it's all just the basic elements, with almost no control over them. Sure she can blow people away and make fancy fires but she sort of just farts everything out and a simple punch would have knocked her out. I don't think she repeated any of these energy outbursts in Season 2. There she learns precision and control over the essence of each element, not focusing on the actual 'visible' element itself.

I like the firepower, teleportation and the witchwater bits. I don't get why people complained why she was so overpowered in season one when they actually have an explanation *WHY* her powers are manifesting and then they leave room to explore it!

0:56, This isn't exactly precognition, it's her mind's perception of the binding spell suppressing her powers unless she needed them, which was shown to resemble a web threads cocooning her when her father cast it. Her visions were signifying that spell slowly breaking completely after her interactions with the book and Matthew, the trigger for breaking it.
