In today's video I want to talk about how Blood Strike is monetized, how the stashes work and how I would like to see it improved for the future. The goal of the video is to open up a discussion and hopefully give some valuable feedback to the developers.

The reality is that you have to be patient with this game, it has a lot of potential. And monetization is indeed the default, but it makes sense to be able to adapt to the development of the game.

I love this game, just started playing a few weeks ago, but the gacha system feels like I’m gambling. I just dropped 140 USD on the new eternal kar98k nether flame skin, and still didn’t get the skin. I genuinely enjoy the game, but I shouldn’t have to spend so much money for ONE GUN SKIN, just to have to spend more money to upgrade the gun, it’s just a shame that you can spend $20 just to get virtually nothing, let alone $140 plus, just to not get the item I wanted, I genuinely feel scammed by the way this system works and it really needs a revamp, not every one has $200+ for a gun skin, I just want to enjoy the game with nice flashy weapon skins without feeling like I just dropped my entire savings for it.

I can’t believe it, I just spent around 8500k gold on the harvest stash and still didn’t get an ultra skin. I still have quite a lot of skins left to obtain, WTF Blood Strike…

One other way for them to make items cheeper is by using the genshin method. Aka offeribg a set amount of money each patch/month to all players. That doesnt necesseralt get them a guaranteed weapon. But does nudge them that direction. Also. The pity you mentioned needs to come along it too.

100% agree. An inside look on how games actually work really help people understand what's going on behind the scenes. Just because there's no new map doesn't mean work is not being done every day by a large team. I don't think anyone at work is allowed to just sit around and do nothing 😅 ANYWAYS. the editing is really 👌👌 as always

I think there should be something like this, so basically if you play battle Royale ranked and you manage to score in the top 3 you will be rewarded some gold

Yes Lythes that is really true, I only got the chance to buy the dual dagger skin because of some gold I received during the pay-day event, I felt pretty confident back then and I bought some more gold to actually get the AK-47 void skin, and I ended up spending all the money I had

It should just have a price tag directly instead of using some sort of luck...I've never been lucky when it comes to ultra skin, I've spent alot on this game and I don't even have any ultra skin yet

I have had worries about monetization in blood strike since day one. NetEase doesn't have the best record when it comes to long term support for their games and that honestly scares me, if at any point they no longer feel the game is worth keeping they could easily pull the plug on it and end a beloved game.

i really loved the point on the development on the game versus the skis. Having taken base level coding courses i can affirm that the work needed to make games better is insane! there is no way the dev's can cater to new user demands and fix old problems at the same time, that is beyond realistic.

What i feel they can do instead is roll back on the new skins a bit and focus on polishing existing features. Me personally i would love to see the delay in a lot of the game cut down, throwing tactical, switching weapons and sometimes picking loot from shops, the delay is almost unbearable.


I can see why they would want to focus on monetization but the benefits of monetization with no noticeable change and improvement in the gameplay does not make sense to me at all.
