Hey, I did this in part . I fantasize about being back years ago . I watched only older movies of the time I fantasized about and listen to the music of that day . I felt better physically and mentally than I had in years . But didn’t want to get too caught up into the fantasy part, so I stopped, but I still feel the physical difference.

Lived in East Africa for a while and the attitude towards the elderly was entirely different. They saw older people as wise and someone to learn from, someone who has seen it all before. I love that.

Hello Brian,  I randomly found your channel looking for the Miracle Morning on a recommendation from a personal development mastermind session recently. Uhmmmm I'm kinda blown away right now and I have watch 3 videos already lol!!. This is like a college philosophy course without the boring lecture. I will definitely put the word out at our next session about your channel. Thank you for your dedication and the work you are putting in.

Jaw dropped! lol I LOVE this information - Sub'd for Life! :D

3. Role-Playing this reminds me of Jane Elliott's "Blue Eyes Brown Eyes" Experiment in 1970 (teaching children about racism) where they split a group of children in a classroom into two groups, one that had blue eyes which were classed as intelligent and superior, and brown eyes = unintelligent/inferior, they switched the classification on the second day of the experiment and found that when the same kids were told they were smarter performed better in tests and when they were told they were less smart they also performed to what was expected of them or rather what they expected of themselves - Incredible!!

Excited to see what you will be sharing in the future, you are on fire!!

Hi Brian! I really got a lot out of this. I took notes on your Confidence 101 and you spoke of Langer's work, so, I thought this one would be a good one for me to see. It definitely reinforces the idea of rehearsing and "acting as if" (priming). There is a lot of powerful material here that I am going to implement into my own personal lab study on myself. I need to journal on this and certainly there is a lot to take in. Thanks so much!!

excellent again brian! many thanks ...

u intro scientific validation to
old wisdoms like "we are what we think" ..
making in easier for us 'rational" ones to adopt ...

its silly, but true...when I hv to wear a suit & tie
I do feel & behave differently ...
going to experiment more on this one...
try "tiny" changes, awesome! :-)

Excited to test this out. I was injured about 7 years ago (with two ruptured discs in my lower back) and unfortunately at the time I didn't have the resources to get an accurate diagnosis nor the surgery I needed. Nearly two years went by before I could get the treatment I needed and during that time my identity of being an athlete slowly deteriorated (gaining 50 pounds in the process) and I've never got it back. I'm wondering what might happen if I was to start intentionally role-playing being an athlete again might do? What if I was to start wearing athletic clothes again and imagine myself as the athlete I'm capable of being? And, what if I was to combine the idea of "the perception of aging" and "the psychology of possibility" and changed my perceptive of my injury and found individuals who have recovered fully from injuries like mine? And then, take Baby Steps while simultaneously practicing realistic optimism and reminding myself daily (similar to the pilot you referred to in a previous note)... "At least seven years!"

As always, thanks for doing what you do. You and your work continue to inspire me and support me in creating and living my most authentic, awesome life!! Much love and deep appreciation for you, Bri (and Alexandria too!!) Big hugs!!

See you at the "confidence 101" class today. I'll be late but I'll be there!!
