Introduction to Health Data Research UK - AHSN webinar

Learn more about Health Data Research UK's Hubs and Gateway and how this could help the Innovators and SMEs supported by the AHSNs.

About this Event:
Wessex AHSN is facilitating a webinar to explore the opportunities and benefits that Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) can bring to Innovators and SMEs.
HDR UK, established in 2018, is the national institute for health data science with the aim to support research on health data at scale to advance our understanding of disease and enable new discoveries that will ultimately improve health and care.
During the webinar, delegates will learn about HDR Innovation Gateway, a platform to discover and request access to detailed UK health datasets for research and innovation.
Amongst the resources available through HDR Innovation Gateway are access to seven HDR UK Health Data Research Hubs. Delegates will get a deeper understanding of these Hubs, exemplified by PIONEER, a HDR UK Health Data Research Hub focused on Acute Care. The learning objectives will include how to use real wold anonymised data with NHS, academic and commercial companies.
