If any of you are interested I came up with a tensioning system that works great with this plow. About 40 lbs down pressure, with no damage to it whatsoever...perfect for the good "Scrape" these plows lack in slushy/wet conditions...and yes, it releases when you back up. No damage after 5 yrs to rubber blade(which is RUGGED, BTW) The Strap thing they sell is absolute junk, broke 20 mins in...MINE works. The company (Snowsport) never responded to my offer to help them with this. I've made 10 of them, they are still in Service after 5+ yrs. These are EXCELLENT little low impact/low maintenance plows, I live in NH and do 3 Gravel and 1 paved driveways every storm...Plus having a receiver hitch on the front of your truck is AWESOME for moving trailers/campers etc...just another bonus !!! LOVE Mine...! If you have interest I'll make up a few more...

So the Snowsport is the same as the Redi-plow ? Are parts interchangeable ?

How well does it work on heavy wet snow ? And gravel driveways ?

Since you have owned the Redi-Plow would you recommend buying me one. They seem to operate pretty well except going in reverse maybe. Any comments?

A real Maine storm would be 2 ft of snow not 2 inches.
