Solar Energy Meets Petri Nets: an Explanation

A solar photovoltaic system is analyzed using a Petri net to manage energy flow. When the sun shines, the battery charges until full, at which point excess energy is sent to the grid. As the sun sets, the system discharges the battery until empty, only then drawing power from the grid.
