I spray painted all the door knobs in my house because they were super ugly gold. I was buying black paint and primer already for our heating vent covers… a year later and they’re still all fine. Now I can’t justify getting new knobs until we get all new interior doors as well which had always been waaay down on my to do list

Ha, thank you! Told my fiancé yesterday, that I'd like to spraypaint all our bathroom fixtures. He told me not to, because it would not last. Now I am more than motivated to try it anyway 👏🏻❤️

Oh my! I just asked what you used in another bathroom update for the faucet and taps. I was thinking of using automotor paint but hadn't thought of a primer. I want to try it on my stainless steel kitchen sink and strainer too. I hope it works! It might be too much wear and tear on the sink.

My husband did the same for our fixtures but sadly they didn’t hold up. I’m not sure what kind of prep work he did so that may have been the issue

You need outside paint to use. It should last longer.
