Whenever I need a tutorial, I always check Very Pink Knits first. It's rare that I don't find what I need. Even more rare if I find another creator that "taught it better". My favorite teacher! Thanks😊

@katiegrav Yes - binding-off the last three stitches normally will give you a nice, straight edge.

oh wow ! I was confused and desperate on how to do the i-cord BO. Your explanations are so clear. I can finally finish my cardigan. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH !

Thank you so much! I’ve just started a shawl and doing my icord edges for the first time. I’ll have over 500 stitches to bind off and was worried they will look very plain next to icord sides ❤ now my shawl will have icord edge on all sides! ❤❤❤

This is the most succinct tutorial on the i-cord bind off on the internet. Thank you so much

Thank you for this tutorial. The best by far. I finally get it, some of the others seemed so complicated. I haven't seen one of yours that wasn't great. Thank you.

Thank you so much, I've watched countless videos, and yours are some of the most clear. I like that you slow down when you're knitting the pattern, not assuming somebody already knew how to start. Thank you!

I have been knitting for over 50 years and I have never used the stitches that you demonstrate. I think their great especially since I just purchased a pattern that requires these stitches. Wish the person who made the pattern had a video tutorial to help me.

Thank you, I love this bind-off but how do I finish it?
Do you just bind off regularly for the last 3 stitches?

Thank you so much for this easy to follow tutorial! Your directions were the best I have found. I am using this stitch to bind off my Hitchhiker scarf and it looks wonderful.

@saprater25 Your best bet for a seamless icord edging around a blanket is to complete the blanket, seam the blocks together, then pick up for an applied icord all the way around. You would have a heck of a time trying to seam together icord from one block to the next! Yes - I'm considering a tutorial on an adult sweater. I've had a lot of requests for one. :)

This bind-off would be great to use on a blanket especially if you used the I-Cord Cast-on. Thank you for making this video.

Thanks so much for the clear and informative video. Thanks to your directions, I was able to do this at my first attempt. The pattern in my instructions says "backwards loop cast on" ( "thumb" cast on) and to bind off in an i-cord. I did not know what that was until I saw your video. You made it easy peasy, lemon squeezy. *saved to my favorites*. Thanks again!!!

In trying to work out how much tail I needed to leave to work this bind off I found wrapping the yarn around both needles for 3 times the number of stitches I was casting off worked well. (I was knitting a scarf and wanted to use the maximum amount of yarn and just finish it there, rather than a set length.)

Thanks. As usual your explanation is very clear. How about doing a video on icord in the round and how to join the Ed’s so it looks nice?

Thanks for mentioning the number of stitches that will 'belong' to the i-cord. Other videos I've looked at haven't (those assumed everyone would want, say, a 4-stitch cord), so I wasn't sure how to adjust.
