I find it interesting how in this song there's the line 'I hate wine, but I'd gladly down a bottle of your name' and then in I want to be in love again there's the line 'Another taste of the bitter wine I used to spit out' (or similar) like these little parallels make me so happy lol

I love the placement of this directly before Dogbird. It feels like such a reminder that "I'd do anything for you" often isn't a healthy mindset.

there is a strange moment in which I realised how similar the dogbird plot thread (anything, dogbird, love after, etc) is to my own love life, and how much I am clinging to loyalty and pride to try and correct previous mistakes, i refuse to date someone who does those relationship 'tests' and I refuse to bow to my partner, because they are a *partner*

I will never forget when Madds posted this for the first time on tiktok, stating it was a Diluc song. Now that we finally have the full song, I can't express how much i love this song. It literally pulls my heart strings and makes me feel giddy (and remind me of how single i am). This is such a beautiful song and i just get reminded of how much of a hopeless romantic i am.
