85 years old and his mind is as sharp as ever. Some people are simply on another lever.

His lectures are the golden standard. I think I will visit and re-visit his lectures for the rest of my life. I always learn something new. Linear Algebra is one of those subjects where, you gain deeper insight the more times you revisit the concepts again and again, after applying them in the real world.

In my country it is said that there are no irreplaceable people, but I think Gilbert Strang is an absolute exception to this rule.

I'm sure someone else already mentioned it, but in the Eigenvector, Eigenvalue factorization of A^2 at 9:26, in the second parenthesis, there should be a capital lambda instead of "A". Professor Strang and MIT-OCW, a million Eigen-thanks to both of you for these lectures. They are truly enlightening and a joy to watch

Prof. Strang seemed to be just as surprised as me when he saw the slide 07:25

Great lectures! Yet, I think the camera should have always included Prof. Strang in the frame. Don't zoom in on the lecture notes. Everyone can print out the notes. They are publicly available. When the video only shows the notes, I don't get to see what Prof. Strang pointed at when he talked.

I am about to finish this series of videos. Enjoying it so far. BTW, \lambda_r should be \lambda_n on the slide at 5:01

At 2:55, he meant cosine is 0 (not 1).
