Elite Dangerous - Ancient Alien Ruins Found

Cmdr xdeath, went in search of ancient ruins, and found them not too far away. But what mysteries does this site contain?

Hello!!! I'm just happy to make my contribution to science. I was surprised that I was actually able to find the System and the Ruins. I imagined that when I found the system and reported it, one of the many other CMDRs would have found the actual ruins before me.
While I am known as xdeath on the forums and discord, and pretty much anywhere else I can get the name, my in game CMDR name is Basch Fon Ronsenburg.

Nice find there obsidian, thank you very much for your coverage of those findings and events. I am super excited how all this is gonna unfold and when first contact with actual non-human lifeforms in elite will be made by players.

Between this video and the crashed alien ship and orbs thus found. This looks like 2 very different technologies. The crashed ship and orbs have a organic quality to them. The video shows something more advanced and refined. This appears, to me at least.

Two very different alien civilizations are involved here!!!

I really hope that this isn't the only ruins location added with this update. I was looking forward to this the most. Though, in the Beta 2.2 update 4 patch notes, one of the points is "Added some more variety to mysterious places". "Places" gives me hope!

The site gave me the following: 18 alpha, 12 common beta, 3 rare delta, 15 very rare epsilon and 3 very common gamma obelisk data. All of the cargo was an ancient casket ($6, 108$, tablet ($6, 956), urn ($4, 423), relic ($11, 000) and totem ($9, 034). 5 cargo and 51 data scans.

I was there and those are Thargoid based items. I went there while the zone was bugged and got to discover perspective of the items nobody had before. It looks quite much as thargoid ship taken into small parts. In basics, everything there was collectible by force. Shoot and take.

I on the other hand hope that this discovery will be just a little stone in comparison to what's out there still waiting to be discovered...

I really hope they implement an alien spaceport somewhere, with alien styled ships, and ideas that would seem odd, like multiple entrances, and you need to hold several alien artifacts to be able to request docking. After you dock, you can sell the stuff for an alternate currency, and if you do that enough, you can buy a ship, which is compatible with new hardpoints and other technologies.
