Listening to your show Thursday am while walking our dog. I was smiling at something you said as I was approaching a walker on the opposite side. He was wearing earbuds and smiling also. We both were wearing Steelers sweatshirts. He stopped and said DK too? 😂. We ended up have a great conversation over Aaron and the potential good or bad it can have with him as quarterback. Just my opion, its not the RB that takes this team to next level, (Waren can get the job done)
With Aron Rodger as Qb, I think the position that makes or breaks us in the playoffs is if Our CB's can get the job done.
We get big DL in draft, we have edge, LBs and SS FS. Brodrek goes back to LT where he belongs.
If we have no key injuires, yes this team can go to AFC Championship Game.

Just an fyi Ben said if Rodgers didnt come .Mason is totally capable of making deep plays and has an arm and isnt afraid to use it for the most part.I was actually really happy he had nice words about Mason .esp.after the past

I'm not enthusuastic about Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers don't have Ben's arm either. I'd rather go with Mason then draft a big arm, big bodied, athletic QB in the 3rd or 4th. Preferably the 4th take best RB possible at 3rd to couple with Warren.

@DKPS_Steelers Love your show, You keep calling Aaron Rodgers 42 years old, While it's true, he will be 42 this year. The wear and tear on his body is that of a 16 year NFL QB He didn't start for 3 years in Green Bay and he missed a full season in New York If you subtract 4 From 42
He's 38 And on top of that, he was coming off.Achilles injury. "IF" he SIGNS 🙄 I guess glass half full.

I respectfully disagree DK on the Steelers not being a Super Bowl team because if we just had a better QB last season and the line played better we could of won games we loss, the defense played so much for games that they where gassed and beat up by week 14-15 and that’s a fact there was so many games where the defense had way more playing time then the offense and that can’t happen especially with a veteran defense and yeah our run game got to be way better then it’s been and Najee wasn’t it he did have good field vision and his play showed that

Ok DK, I've been a listener for a couple years, and a member for almost 2 months. Was gifted a membership. My question is, can I renew for longer before my gift membership runs out, or do I have to wait until it does? And if I have to wait, will that reset my length of membership?

Rodgers has a quick release like Marino. Getting a ball out fast and a quick release are entirely 2 different things.

I think if the Steelers are off to a poor start, and are playing poorly in Ireland, and the fans start booing and chanting "fire Tomlin"

If DL is not an area of need, might I remind you how many rushing yards Baltimore put up on us in the wild card game (so close to 300, I'm calling it 300). We have to be realistic about needs. We might NEED a QB but none available will significantly increase our SB chances. A DL that shuts that run game down and gives Cam a few plays off doesn't really either, but Ben missed his time to mentor. Don't let Cam off the same way. Let him teach the young buck for a year or two and pass that on. That's what's special about the organization; that's how the culture survives through the generations.

One thing respectfully I have to totally disagree with you on is the nose tackle pick in the draft is an absolute need not want. It's a must. Reason being is the 200 yards the Ravens ran right down our throats. It was embarrassing, degrading, demoralizing and plenty other adjectives.
