They were round before they were shapes. Trix has been around for a long time.

I guess Trix has gone back and forth on this. I remember Trix as balls in the 80's during my childhood, it was my favorite cereal as a kid. But then they switched to shapes somewhere around 1990. My sisters and I didn't like the shapes flavor as much so we switched to Froot-Loops

I think the classic Trix are way better, i just miss those fun shapes that they used to have back then. I'm glad they decided to bring the original flavor back though.
