What about autoconditioning before charging while driving - to achieve the fastest available charging when on a long trip?

Does the preconditioning actually benefit the battery and its' efficiency? Doesn't sound like it from the video. It seems like the preconditioning system runs for 45 minutes just to bring the car's internal temperature up to 21 degrees. You can just get in the car, blast the heating and achieve the same thing in 2 minutes!
