Okay real question for rap vocals and rnb vocals using outboard gear or just str8 mic to interface. Zen go or apogee desktop, which is better ?

Are the plug ins also software for mixing in the DAW post production, or only in the Zen and not able to install on the DAW for post production mixing?

Do we need to use antelope's software to use this interface in protools or other DAWs? Or does it work without the software?

I want to buy the Zen Go Synergy Core...And i have a question.
Does this USB interface works with Ryzen Processors? I have Ryzen 1600AF with gigabyte Aorus B450 Motherboard and 32gb ram. And also, i will be able to use the Antelope plugins in Cubase 11?

Anybody thoughts on this interface vs the focusrite clarett 2 pre, would you say this is the better choice?

I do have a question or two:

--- How would one use an outboard compressor with this unit on a mic signal on the way in? Is it possible? Or, would you have to use an outboard mic pre into the compressor into the line in?

--- Concerning the 2nd set of monitor outs:
Since they aren't 1/4", what type of monitors accept that connection? And/or could they be used to send the signal to a stereo amp to play through its speakers?
Also, could that set of RCA outs be used as outs to a 1/4" reel-to-reel tape recorder to record the signal there?

I'm new to this and have been gathering as much info as possible before buying my first quality recording interface. I do have some decent outboard gear that I fear would not be useable with this unit.

I wish it had a mono button, as some other units have, to check a mix for phase issues and the like.

РМЕ впереди. Я продал свой Zen Go. Купил RME bf pro fs и стал счастливым. Zen GO мне создавало много проблем, мне больно об этом вспоминать. На бумаге и в рекламе всё хорошо, но по факту Звук плох, драйвера плохи, как и всё остальное. я покончил с ANTELOPE раз и навсегда !!! Полгода назад с Zen Go шло + 150 евро. Сейчас + 1600 евро. за теже деньги. В связи с этим, мне было сложно продать Zen Go/ пришлось продать его
