Ask for Angela

Our officers have been out today visiting local pubs, licensed premises and security firms to talk about Ask For Angela, as part of our focus on tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG).

Ask For Angela is a national scheme that helps anyone who is feeling vulnerable on a night out to get the support that they need.

We work closely with local partners and venues to ensure they are aware of the Ask For Angela scheme, encourage them to participate in the scheme and inform them of what to do if a customer needs help.
