Note: Iron Treads works extremely well for Iron leaves as it can learn ice spinner which gets rid of electric terrain and not only removes the quark drive power boost from Iron Leaves but also lowers the power of it’s signature move due to electric terrain boosting the power of it

It can be done with pikachu (the unrivaled if you picked that one up) as well. Moveset is lightscreen (because all of walking wakes moved are spl atk) nuzzle (just to get the quick three hit for terastilisation), nasty plot (to bump pika's sp atk) and thunderbolt because it deal decent damage and never misses. You may die once just trying to get the lightscreen and three nuzzles off, but when you come back, you can terastalize straight away drop a nasty plot and the then hammer home with thunderbolts. If you want to get it done quicker, then nasty plot twice after terastalising and the then lay into walking wake. Good luck trainers!

I soloed Walking Wake with the Flutter Mane that I used for the Charizard raid, it was easier than I thought.. only taking two tries. Iron Leaves is much harder though since I dont really have a dark type Pokémon built..

Edit: I just used my Ceruledge and switched to bulk up instead of sword dance, invested into HP and Attack

An easier method for dealing with Iron Leaves is Unaware Skeledirge with Shell Bell and Torch Song, and just spam torch song, tera when you can

Walking awake was easy peasy. Used Iron Hands and got it first time. Iron Leaves however….. 😱several attempts were required. Gholdengo did the trick in the end

I solo it with special attack spiritomb and it's pretty consistent I used:.

Standard max HP and SA plus some defense EV

Nature: Modest

Held item: Shell bell

Shadow ball or dark pulse( depends on your preference or the tera type)

Will-o-wisp

nasty plot

Taunt


Start off with will o wisp and taunt to lower attack and prevent sword dance
which will allow you to survive 4 attacks( unless it crits) even if it manages to get off one swords dance then just max out SA with nasty plot and finally just spam shadow ball or dark pulse

I did make a modification to Kingambit using foul play rather than kowtow cleave, this ensures that I could use a more defensive build but funnily enough this also meant I had to reset the raid if I got an ally with intimidate or arboliva.

Iron threads in my opinion might be the best for iron leaves this bc of one move, ice spinner(and steel roller). Not only he can set iron defense too but he can also hit hard with megahorn

Man, I wish I had good teammates to fight Iron Virizion. I try to follow the strategy but people are dumb. Sending weak pokemon or simply trolling. Thanks for the tips and guide.

I took my Iron Leaves out w/ Scyther holding eviolte, technician, sword dance & fury cutter.

Went down very easily =)
