I miss getting a straight answer for anything, and I miss the quality of goods (think Costco and Amazon as was said in the video). Cheap stuff everywhere and they build cheap also - 5 year old condos falling apart. But overall it is pretty great.

Interesting. Proper sidewalks for sure.

Nice video, you put a lot of forethought. #1 miss is Mexican food (by far). #2 is drive through restaurants/food, especially In N Out & Taco Bell. Wine prices in Thailand used to be high but now you can get great wines from Australia & Chile for slightly over US prices (3-$5 more) you have to know what to look for. There is a lack of bourbons here in LOS but they happen to have my favorite, Jim Beam, at 7-11's for $20. Great local craft beers in Tops Supermarket (IPA's, Weizen, etc.) for less than 2 USD per tall boy.

Don't miss the eye roll from the lady working in the bookstore. 🤣Just found your channel and I'm enjoying the content! Would love a video about how to take public transport in Thailand. Especially the trains. For newbies like me.

Some of the things I miss about life in the US while living in Thailand. From sidewalks to parks and libraries, these are parts of American life that I miss. I hope this offers a glimpse into the expat experience. Thanks for watching — feel free to comment and share what you miss most about your home country while living as an expat in a foreign country.

I love Florida in the USA. Lived here for the last 29 years out of 71. Florida has the best beaches. I live in North Florida much cheaper than people living on the coasts and farther south. Florida is my paradise and the Caribbean is very close. The Bahamas are close also. No need to leave Florida for Thailand. I have been to the Philippines which I like because many people speak English.

Love your channel & content. That being said. Plesse don't judge me, but the organic labels on American products are not trustworthy.

Philip, do you have the Thai retirement visa?
If so, how many times are you allowed to leave Thailand on this visa each year and is there a limit to how long you can be out of the country?
Do you have to pay money if you want to leave Thailand for a holiday of a couple of months?

I don't miss those prices though 😁😁. I LOVE THAILAND! I literally spend around $10 at most each day. Mostly between $6 to $8 dollars. Lotus and Big C Baby!!

Seeing really overweight people is really unpleasant. One of the worst things about the US. Overall though an amazing country. From Canada.

Am not sure, but I have visited a little of cities in USA in Texas and Arizona, and I can’t say that you really have sidewalks everywhere. Sometimes I had a question from the police guys why I am not in the car and if something happens. 🤗

As a Thai, I really like law that is strictly enforced in the US. Thailand has all rules and regulations but can be bypassed by bribery.
