Throwback to 2009 in Hamilton, New Zealand when heavyweight boxer Shane Cameron challenged Samoan knockout artist David Tua to a mega boxing fight. Like Joseph Parker, Tua was also based in New Zealand.

Although being inactive for 2 years, many questioned the fighting state of Tua, even though he’s fought the likes of high-caliber fighters like Lennox Lewis. A cocky Cameron would call it a ‘hiding’ that the Polynesian boxer received from the then-heavyweight boxing world champion.

Leading up to the fight there was a lot of trash-talk and bad blood which resulted in an epic showdown and showcase of vicious boxing power and technique, similar to that of a prime Mike Tyson. I remember this guy. Tua is a beast. I just love seeing bullies get humbled. Also, did you see Tua go over to see if he was ok? Pure sportsmanship. Do you think the other guy would have done that? Ah no!
