I'm close to tears. In Nov 2015 my cousin and her boyfriend were learning to be parents and he has really strong dislexia. He was interested in the gospel so I manually copied Luke from the internet with the footnotes and everything, put it in a Dyslexia font in blue, and printed it, manually feeding each page through my little inkjet. Then I handbound it and sent it to him. Later I learned that when he opened it for the first time he exclaimed, "I can actually read this!!!" I've always wanted to send him a complete Bible but never had the way. Fianally, almost 10 years later, there's a way. And just when he's going through a major life transition! This will also benefit his daughter, who has the same condition. Thank you Crossway! Thank you God.

I'm a youth and young adult minister in my church. I have a student who has a passion for the Word of God and to grow as a man of God but he greatly struggles in school because of his dyslexia. Thank you so much for taking on this momumental and sacred project! As a Dyslexic who regularly reads scripture out loud in church services and Bible studies, this will be a huge aid! For years, I've been relying on my tablet (changing the font, spacing, and background color) to help me read out loud any passage I wasn't able to memorize before Sunday. Even more, my wife is Dyslexic like I am, and we're hoping to have kids soon, who will likely be dyslexic themselves. I don't want reading God's Word to be the same hurdle for them as it was for me as a child. A Dyslexic-friendly children's Bible will surely be one of my most prioritized purchases for each child!
