Ixion Review

My take on Ixion, a space based survival which is very similar to Frostpunk. I like this game a lot!

By the way, if you think all you see on this channel are favorable reviews, you’re right! If I don’t like a game, I don’t spend the time to play it and make a video about it. I usually know after about 5 minutes whether I’m going to like a game or not, so why spend the time playing and writing about something I don’t like, when I can enjoy learning a new game and creating a video about that instead? So, if you see a game on this channel, the chances are almost 100% that I like it.

I was so excited about this game; got it; and am soooo disappointed now. No difficulty settings at all. 100% scripted, so replayability is zero (and with this type of game, you have to replay it over and over usually). Once you know where to click and where to move, it then becomes tedious and boring. There is almost no strategy or any reacting to situations or discoveries. The crew your stuck with are entitled fools, and will get upset PERMANENTLY for the stupidest thing ("hey, one of those people in a cryo pod might be a friend, so regardless of space, food or resources, we DEMAND you unfreeze all of them!). And the building placement makes this game a roguelike tetrus.
