ESA astronaut Tim Peake, NASA astronaut Tim Kopra and cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko were launched into space 15 December 2015. This marked the beginning of Tim’s six-month Principia mission.

This timelapse shows their Soyuz TMA-19M rocket being rolled out to the launchpad and liftoff.

Tim will run over 30 scientific experiments for ESA and together with the  UK Space Agency. Tim will take part in many exciting educational activities around the Principia mission, aimed at sparking the interest of young children in science and space.

If only Sergei Korolev could see that the footages of these Rocketlaunches is availlable around the world. I bet he would be proud.

And there goes the Soyuz, yet another time. Just like the train engine carrying it to the pad, it might not be bleeding edge but it does have an impressive service history ! It'll soon be replaced I guess by newer designs, but for a modified and updated early Cold War ICBM, it does well deserve the rank of workhorse. :)

Where was this launched from because it doesn't look like french guinea or the cosmodrome or am I wrong?

IMHO Arianespace should invest in a set of 4k cameras for launches from Kourou.
Or at a very least - film the launch of James Webb Space Telescope in 4k., from multiple angles.

please send some flat earthers into space. I am so curious about what they will say when they realize that the earth is not flat.
