There are few things developers care more about than Android Market and, during the year since Google IO 2010, we have been investing huge amounts of efforts in expanding and improving it. This presentation walks through what's new, with a particular focus on where developers can take action to improve their apps' Market performance.

Hi Eric, great presentation and big changes to am, but can you tell when will you extend number of countries allowed to sell thru am. I live in EU and my country (Poland) is still banned form selling on am, why is that? Regards.

It is now been 2 months since the 30 days are so comment and I thought about it and realized there must be more new stuff still being baked in like movies and books so I'll have to wait

this definitely isn't a ICS thing but will be out in the next couple of days I bet since I've notice the new charts on my tablet but they disappeared yesterday. if I was a betting man I would say by July 1st

At 51:02, you say to monitor user feedback and respond, and the slide says "to respond to user comments." My ONE hope for this session was the announcement that you'd give devs a way to respond to comments made by a user who clearly doesn't get it. So often a user asks questions that they clearly need assistance with, but instead we're powerless to respond because we have no way of contacting them. :(

@biggerben2010 all of them are there except the recommended apps which I think will be for the web market only for a while since its really like similar apps which we have already

@biggerben2010 On my Xoom I noticed the extra section disappeared now they just popped back up and its slightly revamped with more options so betting we should see the new market in a few days

@biggerbean2010 why didn't you download the leak to install? Its not final anyway and has issues with updating apps, posting or marking comments and the dates look screwed up on.comments
