Lol I never expected that Steve’s quote about “maybe the Titan was just some regular guy” was THIS accurate, I just love how casual the Titan looks 😅

I like how much he tries to come off as an ordinary human to make Luz feel comfortable. The bathrobe, sweatpants, and the fact that he even got rid of his fangs

Luz did what Belos has been lying about for years! She talked to the Titan!

King's dad is the embodiment of the fan base

What I love most about this, in the end, is that the Titan is in fact a supremely humble and kind being. He bares nothing but fondness and good will for the life that has spawned from his remains and expresses genuine remorse for his own mistakes. He is, essentially, the antithesis of Belos.

I don't know why, but I always love when shows like this one depict gods and otherworldly beings as regular people who just happen to be gods.

Honesty, I think this is Arin's best work yet
Something about the way he says "You seem like a good witch" just fills me with the kinda warmth you would get when an adult would compliment you when you were little. Warm and comfy, but still regal. And very much a dad

Luz: *Does that makes us bad as Belos?*

Titan: . . . *Honey did you hit yourself in the head that hard?*

I have a feeling the Titan we see is how Luz imagines him to be. He resembles King, but is also very friendly, approachable, and casual.

My expectation for king’s Dad: intimidating, fierce and larger than life
Reality: he’s kinda like The Big lebowski

Luz suffering from suicidal ideation, getting killed for real, then being offered the chance to live again and taking it is such a beautiful arc.

He got the whole "retired" look 😂 love the titan dad or whatever we call him, lol

There is NO WAY Belos would even come CLOSE to getting the chance of getting the chance to exchange a SINGLE WORD to this absolute LEGEND.

It's so understated, but I love how earnest Luz is with Papa Titan about delivering a message. Luz will never get to hear from her father again, so she's not going to blow a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to provide that for King.

He seems like a pretty decent guy, not perfect but admits it and to making mistakes and realizes the difference between people like himself (genuine goals) and people like Belos (selfish delusions), and grateful to those who care about his son. Plus he and King have the same sense of humor. It's good to know that he will be at peace, now that he knows everything will right again

This is turning into a rewatchable clip.

The Titan’s “Oh, me” response makes it so he is easy to talk to.
Though the end where he’s thinking of the big picture…and Luz is concerned that he’ll never get to meet King, and wants to give King something of “comfort.”

Fun fact: That's Arin Hanson, aka Egoraptor, aka Game Grump #1.

I originally thought it was Kevin Michael Richardson again (voice of Tarak), but holy heck, I did not expect that.

I think the part that gives me literal goosebumps is just how the scene ends. He's done what he could, given everything he has, and its with Luz in power in one last hurrah for the land that grew out of HIS corpse.

This feels more like the Beginning of the End. The Titan that lived so long, finally ready to be at peace. This kind giant who's body became a world, having one last word with the human who became his son's sister.

The sheer chills of the real Beginning of the End.

I love how the Titan helps Luz overcome her guilt and gives her some advice on how to stop Belos.

What the titan said about Belos, about how despite all his talk about saving humanity that's not what he really wants, it reminds of a story I read long ago where the protagonist is warned about people who claim they are fighting for what is right when that is not their true primary motive. Seems like something I think should be reminded.
