I can see the Gorilla glass has a bit less reflection and I'm sure in person it looks a bit clearer. I was expecting this since Sapphire looks darker but now with the AMOLED screen it would not be much of an issue. For those wondering the Sapphire is on the left and Gorilla Glass DX on the right.
I have both the Fenix 6 Sapphire and 6 Plus Solar Titanium with Power Glass. Both of these hold up well and believe it or not I was able to get a chip off my Sapphire while welding, the high temperature of the arc was able to melt into the sapphire causing a small hole. Both have no scratches on the screen but the Titanium bezel got really scratched up from the first day. Don't know how the DX will hold up but my experience is that eventually you will get your watch frayed a bit. I'm not easy on my watches and despite that they still look great.

Had my fenix 5X Sapphire for exactly 5 years, im an electrician, and I wear it to work everyday and there is not a mark on the glass, its as good as the day I got it.

That Sapphire/Titanium just looks so good. And I think that vivid amoled display will work well there vs old screen technology.

on the 6 the sapphire had better contrast. not sure what the difference is here other then slightly more reflection on sapphire which is known to happen with them. for me though the extra $100 i paid for my 6x sapphire was not worth it since after a year i noticed an ever slight nick on it that makes me use a screen protector anyways.
