I use this for bathroom drains, and it literally works every time. What this video doesn't consider is that long term build up begins to decompose, and gunk up. It literally removes all the gunk, its not going to just dissolve fresh or packaged food that hasn't even expired yet.

This stuff works. The problem with your experiment is that you created a total clog situation. Most if not all liquid drain cleaners work on partially clogged drains, otherwise you’d have to use a snake.

I used the liquid green gobbler on my tub. It was running very, very slow. Left it sit overnight and the drain ran clear in the morning. I loved it so much i got another jug to have on hand. We have hard water in our area too.

I was canning beets and found out that beet skins are absolutely FANTASTIC when it comes to clogging drains. I was so impressed... so was my husband when the beet juice went everywhere when I took the pipes apart.
