I grew up with country greats like, Merle, Johnny Cash, Hank, Jr., George Jones, Willie and Waylon. I haven't listened to country music radio in more than a decade, but when I did recently, I discovered Luke Combs. Go QYK, Tampa, FL; and they say radio is obsolete! I haven't been this excited over a new artist in a long time. I've seen several comments that say he's underrated and I completely agree. Probably because he doesn't fit the image. I also want to mention that his band and whoever is doing the mixing for the tunes is fantastic; reminds me of Lynrd Skynrd and Allman Brothers. Mr. Combs, it doesn't matter if anyone else heeds your call, you did and that's works just fine! Keep it up.
