As a Canadian, I can still appreciate how dangerous things can get in other places when your infrastructure isn’t set up for snow & ice. We are able to handle our winter weather due to massive investments in snow plows and road salting trucks, among other things. Just hole up, drink tea and eat some lovely potatoes, and you’ll be through this in no time. I’m pulling fer ya, we’re all in this together. Keep yer stick on the ice, Garron.

It’s bad here in Newcastle Upon Tyne, there’s no food on the shop shelves, I’m sorted for food though, I checked on my elderly neighbours and they were delicious 🤤🤣

I'm just back from Ottawa yesterday, visiting my Son and his partner. Lots of snow and temps - 12 and higher which is the norm. But I'm Irish so I get it, we don't have the equipment or resources to deal with snowy weather because it's not weather we get too often. Stay safe everyone and look out for elderly neighbours and don't forget the animals, Pets and farm/ wild animals. ❤
