Always appreciated the discs; very different flight characteristics to the darts, and bounce off walls. Screw the Ultras and stick with these

When coop says that the blaster might jam when the discs get wet, not trying to be mr. criticize, but the discs literally do not get wet. I have dunked them in bowls of water and for some weird reason they come out of the water dry.

Vortex is unique and us oldies will like them as we can reminisce and the youngsters will think the discs are cool so its a win win for Hasbro. Ammo is expensive so not really war practical but loads of fun fun fun!

I've the old vortex one with the electronic sight, it was crazy accurate when there wasn't wind, good job they brought it back, much nastalga

Personally a full auto LiPo modded vortex blaster would be extremely effective indoors since it can bounce around barriers.

Even if it doesn't count, it's distracting, and gives the rest of your team (if you play in team VS team) an opportunity to flank and get the shots off.
Or even better, if it counts when bouncing off walls, then you basically have something that can hit anyone at any time.

Vortex is back. Yay... I guess. Never owned any blasters of that series but I definitly know they are cool. So eh yay.

Yes! I loved the vortex line. I'm turning 15 this year so vortex was like the new nerf "hype" when I first got into nerf way back when. I'm just glad to seem them back and fully healthy, the zombie strike stuff was an awful waste of space in the universe.

That thing looks darn accurate! Color me impressed! It is technically older technology and the rival series still surpasses it, but it does look like a great addition to those who are looking for accurate nerf blasters. :)
