idk if this is a CRAZY hot take but genuinely there is no mainstream artist that does what abel does. i dont see anyone (correct me if im wrong) actually crafting such a deep, dark, grandiose story and using music as his outlet to tell this story, to tell the audience about his inner self and the struggles he has gone through at the same time crafting it into a whole new but identical character with so much thought and depth put into it

After the sep 7th show it all makes much more sense. Before the concert started, the displayed showed The Weeknd (the old one, from Dawn fm’s cover) peaking through some big ass doors, which I assume are supposed to be heaven’s gates. The stage was in the shape of a cross and in the middle was a construction that resembled a church. In the end, he entered towards the now, open, heaven gates and faded away.
