Byute Flash

Plastic backing won't peel off easily if it's slightly warm. It pulls the butyl off the alloy sheet. Sure, you can put it in the fridge for a while but it's not practical on a hot QLD day when trying to stick 8 metres of the 300mm wide roll.

I tried to use this product today and the plastic backing won't come off, it just stretches and pulls the butyl off the aluminium. I read the other comment and have put it in the fridge to see if that helps but there should be something telling you this in the instructions. Very poor marketing - also expensive for a product that doesn't work.

it is great but on the roof only lasted a few years
