"L.A. Woman" is a song by the American rock band the Doors. The song is the title track of their 1971 album L.A. Woman, the final album to feature Jim Morrison before his death on July 3, 1971. LA Weekly named it No. 1 on their list of "the 20 best songs about the city of Los Angeles". Band guitarist Robby Krieger has repeatedly cited "L.A. Woman" as the "quintessential Doors song". They should have got a Shelby mustang like Jim had, the one in the video is a 65 or 66 . Jim had a Shelby gt500 big block, 67 or 68, nice video . His two best albums are the first one and LA woman. Also An American Prayer is one of my favorites. Remember when it was released in 1978, and finally released on cd in 1995. I've still got the 1978 record store release poster, only one I've ever seen .
