Still doesn't answer my question, if I already had medicaid, why do I need Medicare?

I had Medicare and I had to pay for part B evey month.
Then I applied and approved for Medicaid. Medicaid pays for my Medicare part B.

As I always think and understand (please correct me if I'm wrong) if you have Medicare, you have to pay part B and Medicare will pay 80% of your medical expensive.
If you also have Medicaid, Medicaid will pay Medicare part B for you and also pay the amount that Medicare doesn't pay.

Today, I called one of my local doctor's office and asked if they accept new patient.
The clerk asked what insurance I had. I said I have Medicare and Medicaid with UnitedHealthcare (as I enrolled in Medicare advantage).
The clerk said that they don't accept Medicaid. So, they don't accept me as new patient.
I asked again: _you don't accept Medicaid, but accept Medicare ?_
Clerk: _yes, that's right_
Me: _but I also have Medicare_
Clerk: _but unfortunately we don't accept Medicaid_

I'm so confused. Please explain. Thanks
