Cheoah Kayaking

First time on the cheoah river and wont be the last. Overall the cheoah is a 3/4 river with big waves and sticky holes that are easily avoided if you can paddle. The continuous rapids makes you pic your line on the go, but overall is not "technical". The large falls at the end are NOT technical but the only rapid you have to make a move if you are running the center line. Over all, an excellent clean river, warm water, and LOTS of Bushes. The MOST Technical aspect of the river was choosing the best lines through the Bushes!!!!!! Choose wrong and you could get stuck in a dead end, under a tree, getting stung by bees or in general, just pissed because it happens over and over again. Perscription: Follow someone who has a clue....
