Always had my morning coffee watching Wendy while I worked. She helped many of us with the messy stories that made us forget our own problems for an hour. I wish Wendy peace, recovery and happiness ❤

When she stood watching the crowd in the beginning she got emotional but changed the topic so she could hold her tears back. I’m sure she knew what was coming but had hope it wasn’t it

What hurts me more is how I remember her being very strong, very opinionated, and quick with her questions/insights. Watching this is like looking at an empty shell; it's as if she's reduced to nothing but repeating what the teleprompter/earpiece says, curious in a child-like way (not trying to be insulting, but I couldn't find a better way to describe it), and just completely withdrawn. I would and could never have thought someone like Wendy could go through something like this. I hope you get better, Wendy.

This made me sad: I miss her! Seeing the difference in her first 10 seasons (high heels, sharp, and quick-witted) vs. the more recent (slower moving and slower processing) is such a contrast. I am a radio Wendy fan, and she's been part of my life since young adulthood. We love you, Wendy. Get well soon! 

And thank you so much for caring enough to preserve her legacy, @thewendyarchive. Wendy Williams was the moment and she will forever be an icon.

It's remarkably sad how in such a short time she went from being one of the most highly watched hosts of a daytime TV show to now being completely out of the public life to the point where there are no recent articles about her that would provide an update on the status of her health.

It’s so hard and so shocking to watch this. I never kept up with her or her show but everybody knew how extra, fun, and sassy she was. She was a whole personality of her own. What a transformation.
