I remember watching this and was so inspired. He was definitely a Project Manager like myself. You have to know how to multi-task and get the product out there. For him it didn’t matter the industry or who was involved. That man got it done! May he RIPower with his wife. We seen you and appreciated all you did for your people.

Never heard of Clarence Avant before the documentary but it is obvious that he followed a code. He helped a lot of people in the industry. What an Amazing force of nature. It's good that he will get the recognition he deserves before he leaves this Earth.

Just finished this and to say it was a great watch is an understatement, this delves into how much of an impact this man has made on not only black culture but American culture at large, from his humble beginnings all the way to the point where he's established connections with the heads of industry leading all the way to the oval office, truly inspiring and I'm shocked I've never heard of this man until just now, goes to show how little he cared about the spotlight, highly recommend this.

Why hadn't we the public heard anything about him until now? He has influenced way more celebrity figures and careers than anyone living today and has remained in the shadows behind the scenes doing all of the work. Its great he is getting his recognition now. He also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

I don't know Mr. Avant personally but it brought me chills just looking at how he moved behind the scenes. He is a true maverick and a true inspiration this brother is highly favored. Thank you Mr.Avant for all your contributions to the black community and black entertainment business.

Omg I just watched it!! I'm so touched!! God Bless you Mr Clarence!! I'm actually in tears.. This is about a man who came from Jim Crow days left Climax, didn't have a defined job role but because he was able to negotiate *ANY DEAL* because people loved his good spirit. He was able to work with *the most famous people in America* yet, was able to break through every deals in music, movie, politics and made sure every party was good and you (as his mentee) got the *best* deal... He had a life motto of *EVERYTHING IS ABOUT THE NUMBERS (MONEY)* Yet, he touched so many live *without asking for anything in return*
He believes in the ripple effect of kindness and making sure everyone was good!
I can't believe I just typed this.. like I'm sitting on my bed reflecting on my purpose in life.. *deep sigh* 🤦
