Infertility testing includes physical and ultrasound exams to evaluate the health of the reproductive organs. It includes chemical and hormonal tests to evaluate the health and number of the eggs in a woman's ovaries.

I can have kids, I just can't afford to have kids.

I'm glad he touched on too little or too much testosterone, but I know it was directed at the audience who have vaginas and ovaries, not penises & testicles.
Remember, infertility isn't just a "female problem".
Sometimes, the male shoots blanks.

I don’t want kids. I have noticed how aggressive I get when I talk about kids and the bs they pull on people.
I thanked my mom for never pressuring me to have a SO and “settling down”.

It would have been a more well-rounded video if Dr. Mike had included male (in)fertility markers too. After all, they are 50% of the baby-making equation...

I find it interesting that the health of my reproductive system is only relevant when it serves its purpose as a baby maker.

Take heart. I have pcos, endemitrosis, and hormonal imbalances (like full beard imbalance)hyperplasia allergy imune issues .
Our kids are having low T and sperm count issues post19 viral implantation miscarriage issues. I'm hoping they consider psychological counseling for grief along with fertility specialty. We al love little people so much and have worked as teachers or after-school and summer care providers
It was 5 yrs before we had our first lost our 2nd first few weeks after conception . We needed progesterone troche supplementation to get the third one close enough to term .They are 28 and 24 yrs hag in there. We have gene disorder issues like autism, and juvenile arthritis. It's tough but doable .

How does a male know? Why only focus on women?

I was told I was fertile by my gynecologist but I don't think I am because at 45, somehow I never had an "accident", when it seems like so many I know have.

i misread it as "How do I know if I have kids?" and excitedly thought, yeah that's what I've been thinking!

I had surgery in which they removed a 12 cm endometrioma. They diagnosed me with severe endometriosis at the time. This was 32 years ago when I was 32 years old. I had a baby 16 months later.

Actually, talk to your doctor after 6 months of trying when you are over 30. Also, start prenatal vitamins while trying to get pregnant.

My hormones are all okay from testing. I’m 34 and I just don’t get pregnant. My periods are perfectly regular, but I’m definitely a very heavy bleeder and have to get the highest absorbency. Frustrating lately as for a while they quit selling the highest tampon. Thinking the dye and imaging procedure will be my next step 🤷‍♀️ I just decided to play with eating a lot of fruit and veg and cutting caffeine consumption to nearly nothing at all. Still didn’t work 😅

I worry that my daughter will need a C-section, since I did (failure to fully dilate) and so did my mother, twice. Seems likely that problem will be inherited, but doctors don't treat it that way. ?

Under weight and over weight is not good. You need certain amount of body fat which regulates your hormones.

Both my mother and I had endometriosis but fortunately we were able to conceive more once. But despite taking birth control pills and various NSAIDs I still had painful periods. So at 50 I had an endometrial ablation that resolved my monthly pain.
