I can tell you something about iso 20022, with XRP they can’t utilize ripple net unless you use xrp you have to use the token… the ODL bridge currency use case you have to … now you don’t have to hold it too long but to settle the transaction yes… it’s not the case with algo, xlm or quant…. However Quant use case is very massive connecting centralized finance with defi … overledger operating system is crucial but this one the token is not needed… but the fees give the token its value

It have to go up if banks are using it because banks moves a lot of money. Therefore, for an example XDC with token supply of 37.9 billion, being the settlement token for r3. R3 may be used for settlement token for us derivatives market, moves a lot of money, and therefore the price can’t be lets say 1$. Cuz the marker cap would be too low
