2016 Ford Focus RS (350hp) - #AutomannTalks

Welcome to the IAA 2015, and with some nice interior footage of the all-new 2016 Ford Focus RS (350hp, 440Nm) as a production model. Compared to the few shots we were able to do in Geneva today we had the opportunity to actually take a seat in this awesome car. As said in the video this might be one of the options for our future "Automann-Car" in 2016 replacing our MINI JCW in a year or so. You can see an electronic exhaust valve. It's nice to see cars coming out with this from the factory (optional or not).

I've always been a fan of German and Japanese cars but this car looks pretty damn good. STI and R are going to need an upgrade now!

With as good as the ST is, this is going to be brilliant. A little out of my price range new, but maybe I can pick one up in a couple of years.

0:09 --> Man is this thing THAT insulated from outside noise? I was focusing on Golf R because it's very flexible (cruising vs track), but that one looks like pretty quiet for cruising! I'm sure it has good noise from exhaust but looks also good to commute!

I heard VW has the answer to this beast! They plan on releasing a new golf TDI that has over 40 times the emissions as the RS! Kudos to you VW

Is this car a full time AWD? Either way, it's nice to have a drive mode that make the engine send most of its power to the rear. I'd be driving on normal roads with this mode just to have more even tyre wearing and not to have understeer.

I am not a big Ford fan. I never was. But tell you what: my next car is a Ford Focus RS. 350 hp does it for me. If it is available here in North America, I am getting one.

It looks awesome I'm debating between this and an STI as a dd. the only thing that puts me off is that the awd on here is not as good as the stis based on what I've read the only thing to do is wait for it to come out n watch a comparison vid. If the mpg on this is better than the previous rs then it's a no brainer
