In this week's video, my husband Eric and I react to the cringiest Mutual Messages! Mutual is a dating app for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (or mormons) and some discussing arise that only latter day saints can relate to 😂 We laugh at messages about NCMOs, returned missionaries, being "molly mormon", getting catfished and more!

You're comment about the RM wanting to take someone to a Play, in a different language could be seen from multiple angles.

Could be that he's trying to flirt and say, Hey if the two of us want to see a Play in a language I know, I could whisper in your ear! It could make it romantic!"
If the gal has been open to open to watching something for content (ie a good plot story), then it could be fun for the guy to be her "subtitle interpreter".

However, if she's focused on going to a Play and wanting to enjoy the puns and emotional dialogue in real time, this could be a problem.

As for the guy, if he's not prideful, he could recover this situation by saying that he was trying to be flirty, but he could compromise with her by going to an English play and during intermission or after the Play, he could talk about the wonder people he met and teach her a few phrases.

However if he's not willing to compromise, then she needs to politely decline and then he gets to keep searching for whomever does want to go!

As for the trash comment, you are Dead On!!!
We tend to talk down about ourselves because I guess we think we look more humble? But more than that a lot of us gals struggle with self esteem and self worth. Or you're British a you use self deprecating humor.
Either way, if you talk down about yourself, but you know your worth, then that's one thing.
But if someone else, especially when a guy does it, crushes you So hard! And Not in a good way! You can feel absolutely worthless and feel worse!

I'm so ghosted on the Mutual app I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but I went from 8 likes to 1 like within one week. I'm struggling really bad and I need some tips on what to say for a good conversation. I really don't intentionally mean to be a creep on mutual I might just give up on it and go elsewhere to find my special someone.

Lmbo! "Today's a new day, huh?" I know there has got to be good guys out there but I haven't found them online. I have used dating apps and there have been some real cringeworthy moments. Way back in the day (2007 when I was 19) I was using a LDS dating site and many of the men I talked to just wanted to hookup. One guy ghosted me at general conference but he turned out to be horrible when my friend dated him.
