International Colloquium | Recent Advancements | Photonics (ICAP 2021) | VIT Bhopal

VIT Bhopal University conducted a One Day International Colloquium on Recent Advancements in Photonics (ICAP 2021). This colloquium intended to foster interactions between seasoned scientists and students and also aims to provide a platform for students to gain exposure to advancement in this interdisciplinary field. The speakers in this colloquium were eminent scientists in their respective fields and they provide a comprehensive overview of the theoretical and experimental concepts, necessary to understand photonics extensively, describing the
significant recent advances with a very broad perspective. On this occasion Prof. Atul Srivastava, Professor, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay delivered the inaugural keynote address on the topic " Lasers in Engineering". The meeting was presided by Honorable Vice-Chancellor of VIT Bhopal University, Dr. P. Gunasekaran.
