Mercruiser 3.0 won't start, first start of the season

Mercruiser 3.0LX Alpha One won't start. This is the first start after winterization.

Mine had the same problem…my mechanic changed the module distributor and it started immediately…. Hope you’ll manage 😊

Clean out carb. Drain old gas. Same problem every year.

Firing order is 1, 3, 4, 2 i can tell you by looking at it that your wires are in the wrong spot or your distributer is really turned

Ignition timing check that plug wires are in right place

Timing is off. Your getting backfire through carb because plugs are sparking before exhaust stroke has finished. A slipping belt could cause this.

Timing is out as its spitting out the carb. Check distributor rotor is at no1 point in distributor when engine is TDC.

Try unplugging it and plugging it back in thank you for calling tech support 😂

Ignition timing. Try to retard the timing a little.
